Although looking quite alike to the C4 in size, shape, the inventory space that it takes up (which is 2x1), and the inventory icon, the obvious main physical differences between the two are the timer which can be seen on the face of the bomb compared to the C4's blinking light, and the brick red color of the explosive itself. It alerts NPCs that see it.

No Background Diamond-Drill

The diamond drill is a red bag that is used to set up the drill in The Killhouse and Black Dusk primarily for the loud phase of these missions, but it can still be utilized in stealth if the player chooses to do so. In The Cache, it spawns in a random place inside the bank and its only use is opening the electrical panel next to the server room. In The Scientist, you can open a vent leading to Rivera's room and she'll use it to open the door, then you need to use it to open the panel at the control room door. In Black Dusk it can be found in the vents or on tables to open vent covers to access different rooms without needing to open the doors for each section. Shadow War Equipment[]

Tripwire[]

If you use it at the right time and at the right place, it can be very useful against hostile forces. The effects of flash grenades are also able to stack, letting you completely blind enemies if used properly.

Flash grenades also appear in missions, but they are only used by enemies.

Bags[]

Equipment Bag[]

Equipment bag

In most missions, each player is given their own equipment bag at the beginning, with the exception being Black Dusk (if you choose stealth) where it will be in a room near the Control Center, along with the bombs required to finish the mission. It is a dark grey/navy bag which has 4x3 inventory space inside it. If your starting gear occupies more space than 2x3, it will be put into your equipment bag at the start of the mission. Like all the other bags, it will get detected by guards and sometimes civilians in specific missions, so it is advised not to leave it in plain sight.

There is a special red version of the bag found in The Deposit at the back of the bank which holds 2 thermite cans.

Body Bag[]

Bodybagimage

When interacting with a dead or unconscious NPC, an interaction prompt to press F to carry the NPC will appear. When F is held for 5 seconds, the NPC will despawn, and the player will carry a beige-coloured body bag, which looks similar to the equipment bag. The NPC retains the unconscious or dead state after being bagged.

Since body bags are similar to equipment bags, a speed penalty will be granted to whoever is wearing the bag. It is important to note that the speed penalty is significantly higher than that of a standard Equipment bag.

Players can disguise themselves by holding G on a body bag with an unconscious NPC. This only applies if a disguise is available. The body bag cannot be shot to kill the NPC inside. Bags can be dropped off the void, killing the NPC inside the bag. This can be seen in The Financier and The SCRS.

All body bags can be hidden in chests, drawers, cabinets, and dumpsters, found in almost all missions. The only exception to this rule is a body bag containing Ryan Ross, because the mission requires him to either be dead or alive and brought with you if alive. Once hidden, the bag is gone forever, and disguises can no longer be obtained. All hiding places can contain two body bags, except for dumpsters, which can contain four.

Like equipment bags, a body bag will be detected by guards.
