This article is about the character. For the cutscene, see Jackdaw (Cutscene).

Jack Miles, also known as Jackdaw, is one of the main characters of Entry Point. He is introduced as the main enemy of Halcyon and leader of Phoenix.

Overview[]

Jack "Jackdaw" Miles is a former Halcyon operative and was the one who trained Wren and Rose. He was to be executed during Operation Ember Shroud, but survived when Rose secretly saved him. He was falsely confirmed dead by Halcyon. As an act of revenge, he founded Phoenix together with Rose. After five years of inactivity, Jackdaw reappeared in 2012, ambushing a Halcyon getaway van which was returning from a mission in Arizona. Halcyon concluded that this was an act of revenge and that Jackdaw is coming to destroy Halcyon.

His first appearance is in Black Dawn, but his first interaction with The Freelancer is in Ashes where he holds The Freelancer at gunpoint to send a message to The Director.

Jackdaw has grey hair and a beard. He usually wears a black T-shirt, carrier vest, pistol holster, and cargo pants. He has an eyepatch covering his right eye. He is seen wielding heavy weapons as seen in the Black Dawn cutscene. Jackdaw is not only known by Halcyon, but he is also wanted by the federal government for being a threat to the public. His tone is far more serious than other characters. If the operatives anger him in any way, he will reprimand them, before telling them they're on their own. Jackdaw is a wanted fugitive.
